Wuhan Maritime Court, Jingzhou Intermediate Court, Honghu National Nature Reserve Management Bureau, and Honghu Court jointly signed the "Framework Agreement on Judicial Protection Base of the Honghu Wetland National Nature Reserve", and unveiled the base at the Bagua Chau Ecological Park in Honghu.

Honghu is the seventh largest freshwater lake in China, the largest lake in Hubei Province, and has the beauty of "Hubei Kidney". It was included in the "important international wetland" in 2008 and is also a national nature reserve. The total area of ​​Honghu National Nature Reserve is 41412 hectares. It is an important habitat for many fish and migrants. The wild animals and plant resources in the protected area are rich in resources. There are 472 species of 21 variants and 1 variants of wild plants. There are 5 national first -level protected animals and 17 national secondary protected animals, which are important areas of wetland diversity and genetic diversity.
