Ukrainian companies cannot perform their contracts, and India's fastest train wheels are changed from China

Regarding whether the Indian side has decided to purchase these wheels from China and not in Ukraine, and related prices, a member of the Indian People's Court has previously asked the Indian Railway Department. He said that the Indian railway company originally ordered 30,000 wheels to a company in Ukraine to use the passenger carriage provided by the German LHB company. However, due to the "irresistible" reasons that occurred in Russia and Ukraine, Ukraine was unable to perform the contract. In order to cope with this crisis, the Indian railway re -procured 39,000 wheels by bidding, and finally signed a contract with Taizhong Hong Kong International Co., Ltd. The written reply also mentioned that the contract price of each wheel of each Chinese company is 1.68%higher than the original price of Ukraine.

As early as May of this year, the Indian Times reported that sources revealed that because Ukrainian companies were affected by Russia and Ukraine's conflict, the contract could not be fulfilled, and the Indian railway company must re -tender for the wheel supply contract. The bidding work began on April 4 this year. The bidding price was 1.7 billion rupees (about $ 21 million), and finally signed a contract with the bidding enterprise on May 2.

The highest test speed is 180 kilometers per hour, and the actual operating speed is 160 kilometers per hour. It is known as the "semi -high -speed rail".
