In the first half of the year, the total value of Tibetan foreign trade imports and exports of foreign trade increased by 10.0% year -on -year

Lhasa, July 25th (Reporter Faye Wong) The reporter learned from Lhasa Customs that in the first half of this year, the total value of foreign trade imports and exports in our district was 2.182 billion yuan, an increase of 10.0%year -on -year. Among them, exports were 2.047 billion yuan, an increase of 1.3 times, and the trade surplus was 1.912 billion yuan.

In the first half of the year, foreign trade imports and exports in our district showed strong toughness. The overall operation of foreign trade was stable, slightly higher than the overall growth rate of the country, and the trade "circle of friends" has expanded significantly. In the first half of the year, our district launched import and export trade with 89 countries or regions, an increase of 35 compared with the same period last year. In particular, trade with members of the countries along the “Belt and Road” and members of the RCEP Agreement maintained increased by 49.9%and 5.2 times, respectively. Nepal is the largest export market in our district, with a bilateral trade value of 777 million yuan, which mainly exports labor -intensive products such as clothing, shoe, boots, luggage and other labor -intensive products.

From a structural point of view, foreign trade in our district mainly focuses on general trade and border trade. In the second quarter, the value of foreign trade was 1.135 billion yuan. The economic demonstration effect of the capital of Lhasa was continuously strengthened, with imports and exports of 2.091 billion yuan, an increase of 14.5%, accounting for 95.8%of Tibetan foreign trade, ranking first in the 7 cities' foreign trade value; private enterprises gave full play to the vitality of market entities. The import and export of 2.118 billion yuan, an increase of 1.2 times, is the main force of foreign trade in our district.

Since the beginning of this year, Lhasa Customs has implemented 12 measures to promote the preservation and stability of foreign trade around “grasping characteristics, smooth channels, increased platforms, and excellent environment”, and strictly follow the prevention and control of the port epidemic. Take the initiative to connect with the construction of the “Belt and Road” and the new land and sea channels in the west, establish a platform mechanism for the “one -to -one enterprise liaison”, accurately use the preferential tax and exemption preferential policies, guide enterprises to seize the opportunity of RCEP, strengthen credit management to motivate foreign trade enterprises to develop the healthy development; Help Tibet's "good water", wool products, green 糌 糌 粑, Cordyceps sinensis and other special products, "go global", transform the "white paper and black words" of policy measures into the "real gold and silver" of the enterprise.
