Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, July 26 (Reporter Zhao Wenjun) The General Administration of Market Supervision Recently released the newly revised mandatory national standard "Audio Video, Information Technology and Communication Technology Equipment Part 1: Security Requirements", which will be on August 1, 2023 Formally implemented. This standard will comprehensively improve the level of safety guarantee levels such as electronic product design, production, testing and certification, sales, and use, and keep the safety bottom line.

This was learned by the reporter from the General Administration of Market Supervision on the 26th. The first -level inspection staff of the Standard Technology Management Department of the General Administration of Market Supervision introduced that the new national standard is integrated and revised based on the two original compulsory national standards, covering all products of audio, video, information technology and communication technology equipment. The dangerous sources of electric shocks, fire, overheating, and sound radiation that may occur during use in various electronic products have proposed corresponding protection requirements and test methods.

In recent years, wireless charging functions have been widely used. Consumers may place metal items such as keys and coins on wireless chargers. Wireless chargers may cause high temperatures to generate high temperatures and cause burns and fire dangers through energy transmission. In this regard, the new national standard clearly requires that wireless chargers need to have the function of identifying metal foreign objects and stop energy transmission of foreign bodies in time.

With the popularization of electronic equipment multimedia functions, wearing headphones, Bluetooth headsets and other products are favored by consumers. The new national standard put forward security requirements, requiring the volume of the headset to exceed the specified limit within a certain period of time, electronic products should give warnings and ask users to confirm, and it automatically reduces the security volume when uncertain.

For portable electronic products that use rechargeable batteries, the new national standards focus on battery safety issues, and the safety requirements such as battery overcharging protection, temperature protection, shell fire prevention, and falling protection are stipulated.

According to reports, the General Administration of Market Supervision will follow the implementation of the new national standard with relevant departments to guide the electronic product CCC designated certification agencies and laboratories to strengthen the certification testing capacity in accordance with the requirements of the new national standard.
