Earlier, there were no children's neurosurgery in Hubei for a long time. If local children need to perform major surgery, they could only go long distances to Beijing and Shanghai for medical treatment. In order to fill the blankness and meet the needs, in 2017, Wuhan Children's Hospital established the first children's neurosurgery in Hubei Province.

Du Hao remembered that the first child's complex brain tumor surgery was performed for 7 hours. Although the surgery was successful, he was hard to sleep all night: Children's neurosurgery surgery is very different from adults. How to improve surgical solutions, shorten surgery time, and reduce damage to children?

Du Hao bought a folding bed in the office and slept in the ward for several months.
