The old site of the Quanzhou incident Chengtian Temple is located at No. 115 Nanjun Road, Lizhong Street, Licheng District.

In August 1937, the Min -Middle Red Army guerrillas reached an agreement with the Kuomintang Putian County Party Department to accept the edit of the Kuomintang, and were included in the 80th Division of the Kuomintang Army. At the beginning of November, the Secret Service was ordered to enter the Quanzhou City. In the middle of the troops, the troops entered Chengtian Temple in Quanzhou. After arriving in Quan, the special agent brought a wide range of anti -Japanese propaganda, and the Quanzhou area quickly set off a climax of the anti -Japanese rescue movement. During this period, the Kuomintang authorities repeatedly created friction.

In March 1938, Liu Tujun and five people including the Fuzhou New Fourth Army Office and attended the meeting of the Fujian -China Working Committee were killed by the Kuomintang authorities. Subsequently, the Kuomintang authorities ordered the whole city to martial arts, and sent a group to surround Chengtian Temple, forcibly collected the special service brigade weapons, seized all the commanders, and created the Quanzhou incident that shocked the eight -Min -Min Dynasty. The CCP ’s Fujian Middle School of Works actively carried out rescue and was trapped in Chengtian Temple. The matter was greatly influenced in society. Under the pressure of public opinion from all walks of life, Chen Yi, then the chairman of the Fujian Provincial Government, agreed to release the staff and return the weapons. In late March of the same year, the team compiled the second company in the Special Service of the New Fourth Army Military Department. In mid -April, at Chengtian Temple, he went to the front line of South Anhui to participate in the Anti -Japanese War.

The old site of the Quanzhou incident Chengtian Temple was founded in the Ninth Tang Dynasty (957-958). It was first named Nanzen Temple. Fu Temple is also called the three major jungles in Fujian. Repair in 1984, covering an area of ​​about 50,000 square meters. After the rebuilding, the pavilion of Chengtian Temple Flying Eaves was flying, with a large scale and magnificent momentum. In October 1959, the Quanzhou Municipal People's Committee erected a monument in Chengtian Temple. The inscription was "the Minzhong Red Army guerrillas during the War of Resistance Against Japan concentrated that the New Fourth Army Special Affairs Camp was adapted north of the Anti -Japanese War." In June 2003, the People's Government of Quanzhou City re -determined Chengtian Temple as the revolutionary site and re -established a revolutionary site monument at the south of the martyrdom.
