Chaozhou newly added 11 provincial cultural protection units

近日，第十批广东省文物保护单位名单公布，我市共有11处文物点入选，分别是：孙石磎墓、东和苏氏宗祠、外江梨园公所、丁宦大宗祠、天褒节孝牌坊、 Hong Lingfei's former residence, Dai Ping Wan's former residence, Yu Dengren's former residence, the former residence of Ke Bainian, the old site of Chaozhou Branch of the Huangpu Military Academy, and the site of the Chao'an County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China. In addition, the Huanghuzhai Huang's ancestral ancestral temple was incorporated into the seventh batch of "Longhuzhai Building Group" in Guangdong's cultural relics protection units. At this point, the number of provincial cultural relics protection units in our city reached 42.

In February last year, the Provincial Department of Cultural Traversing Organization organized the application of the tenth batch of cultural relics protection units in Guangdong Province in various places. The Municipal Cultural and Guangli Sports Bureau attaches great importance to the active declaration of the cultural relics administrative departments of all counties and districts. A total of 28 cultural relics are recommended to apply for the provincial cultural security unit. The types of cultural relics declared this time are complete, covering the ancient roads, tombs, shrine, residential houses, archway, temples, kiln sites, revolutionary cultural relics and other types.

In recent years, the city has actively responded to the national call and continuously increased the work of the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics. This time, a total of 11 revolutionary cultural relics declarations are recommended by the city, accounting for 40%of the total number of recommended cultural relics. Among the 11 cultural relics selected, 6 are revolutionary cultural relics, accounting for 55%. Revolutionary cultural relics have become the provincial cultural protection unit, which will lay a good foundation for subsequent protection, activation, or funding guarantee.
