"The Huashan construction site is close to the ecological bottom line, and there are mountains and rivers around. We must not only destroy the environment here, but we also need to contribute to the ecological protection here." Wang Ran, owner of the Wuhan Metro Construction Headquarters, said that in order to solve the problem of construction dust, Generally, the construction site is covered with dustproof nets, but the Huashan construction site chooses a more environmentally friendly way: grass planting.

Huashankui, who had nothing to know about gardening, took this task and led four or five workers into the "planting career." Seemingly simple work, but encountered a lot of difficulties.

Under the recommendation of the other party, I tried to plant the large -leaf oil grass commonly used in urban greening, but after sprinkling the seeds, I waited for two or three months after two or three months. However, only some weeds grow.

"The soil here is poor and contains a large amount of sand and gravel." After the first experiment failed, Huashankui began to find the cause on the soil.

As a result, Huashan Kui rolled up the soil and picked out the large pieces of gravel. After doing it for a while, he realized that this method was not feasible, because the construction site covers an area of ​​about 18 hectares, and the area of ​​grass is needed for seven or eight hectares. It takes too long to choose a little bit of artificially.

"Since the quality of the soil cannot be changed, it can only be changed again and again, and I can always find the right one." With a "more true strength", Huashan Kui opened a small test place, and the trial was planted. Five or six kinds of grass seeds. After experiencing failure, the malt grass is finally selected.

In order to achieve better results, Huashan Kui and workers are always paying attention to the weather forecast and sprinkle grass seeds when choosing rain. Finally, the kung fu is not responsible for the people, the malt grass is full of the Huashan construction site, the exposed land is no longer, and the dust problem is effectively resolved.

"Look at this grass, blue oil, not only good feed, but also good care." Huashankui stood on the grass and looked away, excitedly introducing his "research results".

Wang Ran introduced that if the dust net is used, it is necessary to change it once in about half a month, and it takes about 200,000 yuan each time to change. In addition, the Huashan construction site is close to the Wujiu Railway Line. Once the dust net is blown away by the wind and hangs on the railway cable, it will affect driving safety.

Today, the cost of planting grass is less than half of the dustproof net, and once the planting is successful, it only needs to do daily maintenance, and the entire construction period does not need to be replaced. "Green grass is much more beautiful than the dustproof net, the construction site has become more vibrant, and the environment becomes better." Wang Ran said.
