"I am ISFJ, what kind of personality are you?"

"Wow! Is this coincident? Just the opposite, I am ENTP!"

I wonder if the conversation above really happened between your friends? To say that the hottest personality test of the entire network a while ago, it was MBTI.

What is MBTI?

The first version of MBTI test was a pair of mother and daughter Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers after studying Jung's "personality theory". A test schedule invented, dividing people into 16 personality types through four dimensions and 93 questions. Among them, the meaning of each letter is as follows:

Extreme (E) VS Internal (i): Help you discover the main way to get energy for energy.

Feeling (S) VS intuition (n): What are the main channels for obtaining information and understanding the world.

Smart (T) VS Emotion (F): Judging the method of things.

Judgment (J) VS Perception (P): The way and habit of doing things.

Why are people keen on MBTI testing?

In fact, the personality test fascinating MBTI is not because you follow the trend blindly. There is a deep psychological interpretation behind it.

For example, the Parnum effect:

People will give a highly accurate evaluation of some personality descriptions they are tailor -made for themselves, and these descriptions are often very vague and universal, so that they can be allowed to release all over the world.

The Banam effect can provide a very complete explanation for divination, psychological testing, and lottery, and MBTI testing is naturally no exception.

"Knowing yourself is the most difficult problem in the world and one of the ultimate goals of human exploration." Everyone has a strong energy to explore themselves and understand themselves. This is not a bad thing.

However, the result of personality testing may also change over time, mood and other factors.

Have you ever experienced the following scene if you like personality test:

和 Repeatedly jumped between E (outward) and i (introverted)

) As a small F (emotion), he is not good at empathy

的 Facing my messy room, I feel ashamed of my J (judgment) attribute

Relying on these excessive stereotypes, it is inevitable to "doubt life". One leaf is observed, no Mount Tai. Just using four letters to define themselves, it is likely that people will lose the possibility of exploring their other side.

Studies have shown that when more than 50 % of people re -test their personality after half a year, their personality attributes have changed to varying degrees. In fact, there are differences in different personality types and common.

MBTI not only labels "introverted, not good words" or "do not like planning", so it is better to give yourself a chance to re -explore yourself at one time:

People cannot be summarized by simple four letters and 16 types, but you may be able to explore the most authentic self through it ~
