On July 7, the Chinese Football Association and the Zhongzi Federation preparatory team issued the "Notice of the Chinese Football Association on the restoration of the 2022 Super League's Lord Wardon" to the clubs. The team returned to the home competition, the two teams chose the homeland home, and the five teams went to the neutral Haikou competition.

There are 11 teams returning home: Taishan (Jinan City Olympic Sports Center Stadium), Guangzhou Team (Guangzhou Huadu Stadium), Changchun Yatai (Changchun Sports Center Stadium), Guangzhou City (Yuexiu Shan Stadium in Guangzhou) , Songshan Dragon Gate (Zhengzhou Voyage Stadium), Wuhan Yangtze River (Wuhan Five Ring Sports Center Stadium), Wuhan San Town (Wuhan Sports Center Stadium), Meizhou Hakka Team (Huzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium), Chengdu Rongcheng (Chengdu Phoenix Mountain Professional Football Stadium), Dalian (Dalian Puwan Stadium).

There are two teams in the home venue: Shanghai Harbor (Dalian Sports Center Stadium) and Shanghai Shenhua (Jinzhou Stadium in Dalian).
