The life course of "狲 娘 娘"

Starting point of life

For rabbits, their estrus period is from January to March each year. During this period, the male rabbit will continue to be in estrus, and the female is periodic estrus, each estrus 26 hours to 42 hours. If this cycle fails to conceive successfully, it usually performs estrus after a month.

On February 27, 2021, the breeder observed that the parents of Auntie had matched many times, which was probably the starting point of Auntie's "Shengsheng".

After observing the many mating behaviors of Auntie's parents, the breeders were about to start preparing to welcome the arrival of the new cute things.

Necessary preparation

In order to meet the arrival of the rabbit, the zoo was fully prepared.

1. Set breeding nests

As a small cat, rabbit is very courageous. In the wild, he will find caves and earth caves as breeding nests, or directly grab marmable caves. In order to increase their sense of security as much as possible, the zoo set up a wooden box with a corridor as their breeding nest box, and the camera was installed in it to understand the situation in the first time.

2. Special food

Toxoplasma is the biggest problem for breeding of rabbits. European rabbit cubs have a mortality rate of 60% -65%. The culprit is toxoplasma. In order to prevent the occurrence of Toxoplasma, the zoo starts to add drugs to the rabbit's mother's food in the rabbit's mother, the mother of rabbit. It is very interesting that, as a distinctive rabbit, Nagan Xiang usually eats live pigeons and refuses to eat after being executed. 3. Safe environment

The newborn cubs are only ten centimeters long and weigh nearly 100 grams. They cannot open their eyes. They will only eat milk with their instincts.
