The Zhangshang Expressway starts from the north of Sandaowa Village on the west side of Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City. Finally, it is finally connected to the Jianji Mongolian border of Nanxun, Shangyi County to connect the Junxing Expressway of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region with a total length of 72.262 kilometers. Among them, Zhangbei section is 28.46 kilometers in length, passing through Zhangbei Town, Tanbiao Ying Township, Hauru Township, Shanjinghe Township, 4 towns and villages; the total length of the Shangyi section is 43.802 kilometers, passing through the Manjing Town, Badougou Town, and Qijia Township. , 4 towns and villages in Nanxunyu Town. The project uses two -way four -lane construction, with a design speed of 100 kilometers/h, a road base width of 26 meters, and the total investment of the project is 5.776 billion.

The Zhangshang Expressway is an important part of the "five horizontal two vertical lines" of the highway network of Hebei Province. It is listed as one of the key engineering construction projects of the provincial and municipalities. It is of great significance to economic linkage and promote the integrated development of Beijing -Tianjin -Hebei transportation with Hebei Province.

After the opening of the highway, this highway will end the history of Shangyi County's incomparable high speed, which is of great significance to further improve the layout of the Hebei highway network and regional highway network, and strengthen the economic linkage between Inner Mongolia and Hebei.
