Chen Yan, a Ruishi young mathematician, won the prize again! On July 31st, the Ninth World Chinese Mathematical Conference was held in Nanjing. At the opening ceremony of the opening ceremony, Chen Yan, a Swiss mathematician and a special professor of the Geometry and Physics Center of the Chinese University of Science and Technology, won the ICCM Mathematics Award (formerly Morning Mathematics Award) Silver Award.

It is reported that the Chinese mathematician conference is the largest and most influential top event in the global Chinese mathematical community. The ICCM Mathematics Award was first awarded in 1998 to recognize Chinese mathematicians who have made outstanding achievements in basic mathematics and applied mathematics in the age of 45 and have contributed to the development of mathematics. The "Chinese Phils Award" is known as.

Along the way, Chen Yan's name is closely connected to "mathematics". In 2006, 12 -year -old Chen Yan won the first prize of the National Olympic Games. In 2008, he took the college entrance examination one year in advance at Ruian Middle School. He scored a high score of 137 points in mathematics. The total score was 84 points higher than the national key line. At the time of graduation, he won the full scholarship of Mathematics with the first place of the Department of Mathematics and the State University of New York State University. In 2017, after graduating from a doctorate in Mathematics of State University in New York, he served as assistant professor at the Princeton Higher Institute of Higher Research Institute and the University of Wisconsin Madison. In 2020, he was hired by the University of Science and Technology of his alma mater and joined the Central University of Science and Technology Geometry and Physical Research Center in 2021.

Chen Yan focuses on compound micro -division geometric research. In February 2021, his paper "Deformation of J's equation and supercritical Emit -Yang Zhenning -Mills equation" was published in one of the four highest magazines in the mathematics industry, "New Mathematics Progress", and overcome a recurring differential geometric field. World problems have aroused attention from the international mathematics community. At the end of 2021, his other important papers about the field of differential geometry were published in magazines such as the Journal of Mathematics (Acta Mathematica). "Journal of Mathematics" is regarded as the most prestigious mathematical academic journal by many people. In its 140 -year history, at the time of publishing, there are only 10 papers published by Chinese college scholars. Is the 11th.

Chen Yan hopes to leave more scientific research results in China. On the first day when he returned to his alma mater, he had sent WeChat to Su Xiangmei, the class teacher of his high school class: "I just joined the Shanghai Research Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China to report to you." Since then, Chen Yan has joined the Ruian Middle School Alumni Association.
