The latest list of central enterprises in 2022 was announced (attached list)

As of August 1, 2022, there were 98 central enterprises in my country. The "central enterprise" here refers to a central enterprise that was fulfilled by the State -owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

On July 25, the youngest central enterprise in my country was established. It is China Mineral Resources Group with registered capital of 20 billion yuan. So far, the number of central enterprises in my country has increased to 98, and the website of the SASAC has also updated the latest list of central enterprises.

Among these 98 central enterprises, the central enterprises with a serial number 1-51 are mostly "deputy ministerial" state-owned enterprises, including large central enterprises in the fields of aerospace, energy, steel, communications, petrochemical, aviation, electricity, etc. Comprehensive state -owned enterprise group, including the Group and China Merchants Group.

If analyzed from a broad perspective, there are more than 98 central enterprises in my country. There are still many central enterprises that are not supervised by the State -owned Assets Supervision Commission, such as the four major state -owned banks, which also belong to the category of central enterprises and belong to the Ministry of Finance.

From the different business scope, my country's central enterprises can be divided into three categories:

1. Industrial state -owned enterprises, that is, 98 central enterprises supervised by the SASAC, are large state -owned enterprises involving the physical industry.

2. Financial state -owned enterprises, that is, 27 financial state -owned enterprises supervised by the Ministry of Finance, including the four major banks, the National Bank of China, the Everbright Group, the Bank of Communications, CITIC Group, the four major asset management enterprises, import and export banks, etc., mainly involved banks, insurance and insurance Asset management business.

3. Cultural central enterprises, that is, more than 100 cultural central enterprises that have performed the duties of investors, such as China Publishing Group.

In addition, there are 4 central enterprises that have performed the duties of the investor by the Ministry of Finance, namely: China Tobacco, National Railway Group, China Post Group, and Peking University of the Wilderness Agricultural Reclamation Group. Among them, the total profit tax of Chinese tobacco in 2021 reached a record high, reaching 1.28 trillion yuan, of which more than 1 trillion were taxes paid to the state.

What is the difference between state -owned enterprises and central enterprises? In short, the category of state -owned enterprises includes central enterprises and local state -owned enterprises. Therefore, state -owned enterprises are state -owned enterprises, and state -owned enterprises are not necessarily central enterprises, such as a large number of local state -owned enterprises.

Nowadays, the general state -owned enterprise refers to 98 industrial central enterprises supervised by the State -owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. In 2003, there were as many as 196 state -owned enterprises regulated by the SASAC. The lowest number is only 95. In recent years, several new central enterprises have been built after business reorganization, and the number has increased to 98.
