Recently, Zhou Yan, a volunteer of the China Green Fair Cloud Port Protection Land, observed an extremely special butterfly in Jinping Mountain, Jincing Mountain, Lianyungang. Rest on a leaf.

At first, volunteers thought it was a Bi Teng Butterfly. After many consultations, Wu Liye, a butterfly expert from Lianyungang City and expert from the Chinese Insect Society Butterfly Branch, identified it as a daemon phoenix butterfly.

According to experts, the Qiong Cui Phoenix Butterflies are mainly distributed in Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Fujian, Taiwan and other places. Although Jiangsu Province has recorded in Wuxi, Suzhou, it is rare to observe it in Lianyungang.

The hind wings are thick and dark, and there are 6 bird -shaped pink spots on the outer edge, but they are not obvious, and the hip corners are rings. The opposite side is the same as the front, but the markings are clear and obvious than the front, and the tail interpretation is short.

Bi Peafen Butterfly

Princeps Bianor, insect scales of scales. Body and wings are black. The half part of the front wing is pale, and yellow and blue scales are scattered between the wings veins; there are 6 pink and blue bird -shaped spots on the outer edge of the posterior wings, and a semi -circular pink spots on the hip corners. In particular, a large blue zone forms a large front edge. The opposite complexion is light, and the markings are very obvious.
