It is understood that after the completion of the project, the saving capacity of wild rice germplasm resources has reached 40,000, with an annual appraisal evaluation of more than 1,000 copies. The annual sharing and use of more than 3,000 people can meet the needs of wild rice germplasm resources in the next 30 years. As of now, the project has brought together about 11,000 wild rice germplasm resources across the country.
