The Martyrs Cemetery was upgraded to the Municipal Martyrs Cemetery in 2021. In November of the same year, with the approval of the National Retired Military Affairs Department, it was listed as the planning and construction of martyrs' commemorative facilities during the "14th Five -Year Plan" period. It officially started on April 20 this year. The total investment was 12 million yuan. It was planned to build 150 martyrs' tombs, 1 monument, 1 gate, and one toilet. The total construction area was 444.66 square meters.

Tongde Martyrs Cemetery was founded in March 1956 and covers an area of 7,566 square meters. There are currently 115 burial martyrs, including 1 martyr who died in 1949, 17 martyrs who died in the battle of fern, mushroom mountains, cold water, and Bald Mountain in Tongde from 1956 to 1958, 92 From 1966 to 1979, the martyrs who were sacrificed in the Kun -Kun Railway and Panzhihua Steel Base were built during the third -tier construction period, and five martyrs who died in Panzhihua's construction after 1990. Among them, the oldest 42 years old and the youngest 16 years old.
