Since you need to wear a mask out of the door, do you also feel that the original face recognition on the phone is not easy to use?

In the past ten years in science and technology development, we have experienced the continuous update of mobile phone unlocking methods. From the password to the graphic, then to the fingerprint unlock and face recognition. However, since wearing a mask, everyone seems to have returned to the most traditional password unlock.

Is there a new way to unlock the mobile phone convenient and securely! Scientists tell you that there are really, but it seems to be a bit outrageous.

Recently, researchers from the University of Kyushu and the University of Tokyo provide a new way to unlock their mobile phones -blowing a breath.

Maybe many people are not unfamiliar with the "electronic nose". Using the olfactory sensor system, the electronic nose can analyze the flavor in the air and accurately identify the odor of odor. In some food industries, the electronic nose can be used to detect which foods are used, and the taste is qualified.

However, even if you can smell the smell, how should the mobile phone recognize "I am"? After all, whether it is fingerprint or face, it looks unique. But is our tone unique?

The component of our breath is very complicated, and if we eat something, the tone will change. However, even so, each of us will still have some unique chemical components. Studies show that the air we call may be used to identify some diseases, such as diabetes.

Therefore, in this study, people found 28 compounds as a tool for "tone recognition". They use a 16 -channel odor sensor. Each channel can identify several odors, and they can analyze the chemical composition of each population through machine learning.

It was found that this sensor was indeed a bit effective. A total of 20 people of different places and different ages performed a blow recognition, and the accuracy rate reached 97.8%.

However, these people did not eat 6 hours before the test. The samples of 20 people are too small. Although the smell is very likely, today's technology is not mature. Maybe after we have eaten heavy -flavored foods such as snail powder, we will find how to "blow" our mobile phone.

Blowing the phone unlocking the phone is not the most outrageous. In the field of biological characteristics, there are many strange methods that can prove "we are unique." In addition to common fingerprints, iris, and DNA recognition, you can also unlock the fancy in the following methods:

For example, lift your hand, or give your phone to see the shape of your ear canal, or through the veins of your fingers, walking posture, and even the frequency of typing ...

Each of us has various unique biological characteristics. For example, the shape of the hand, the mobile phone can recognize whether you are yourself by entering the length and width of your fingers, the distance between the joints, and other information. When we make various expressions, the shape of the ear canal changes. Scientists let people wear a special "headset", as long as you change your expression on the screen, you can recognize people through the changes in the ear canal.

But are these methods really reliable? No matter what biometric means, it is recognized by physical methods, and there will be defects. Smell recognition will be affected by food or disease, and the shape of the hands and ear canal may also be injured. Sometimes we just put on glasses, and our face recognition will suddenly "don't know" us.

Even the fingerprint recognition we once used was gradually eliminated because of great safety hazards.

As early as 2017, some researchers realized "universal fingerprints" that could unlock any mobile phone. Although each of us has unique fingerprints, no matter how "smart" is there, the fingerprint recognition device on the mobile phone is still flawed. Because the button to unlock the fingerprint of the mobile phone is generally small, and it can also save several people's fingers.

You only need to learn a lot of fingerprints and match, you can generate "universal fingerprints", and the successful power can even reach 76%. If you have several fingers at one time, the possibility that can be matched is even greater.

Not to mention the fingerprint recognition device of "not too smart", with paper or orange peel sometimes unbuttoned the phone.

And leaving your own fingerprints in public are actually leaving hidden safety hazards. Some researchers can unlock their mobile phones and other security systems with residual traces through the collection of residual fingerprints, and then carved with 3D carving.

All in all, it is important to protect personal information security. Once the mobile phone is cracked, personal privacy will also lose protection. Even if scientists are trying to find more secure "passwords" through fancy unlocking methods, we must use more security measures to protect ourselves.

Not to mention the face recognition of wearing a mask.
