Baiyun Airport Summer flight recovery obvious daily average passenger volume exceeds 100,000 passengers

Yangcheng Evening News reporter Tang Yan and Correspondent Airport announced that since the summer, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport's aviation market has steadily recovered, and the number of passengers has increased significantly. Just in July, Baiyun Airport received a total of 3.257 million passengers, with an average daily passenger volume of 105,000. A total of about 15.6 million passengers were transferred from January to July this year, ranking first among airports across the country.

Affected by the growth of the summer passenger flow, in July, Baiyun Airport took off and landing a total of 31,000 flights, with an average daily settled and landing of 1002 times; the average daily passenger was transferred to 105,000 passengers. The highest peak of a single day appeared on July 8th, with 126,700 passengers.

In order to promote the recovery of the aviation market, Baiyun Airport will jointly open and restore a number of domestic and international routes with major airlines. As of the end of July, Baiyun Airport opened a total of 13 new domestic routes this year. Among them, 6 new air points including Enshi, Shennongjia, Turpan, Kaili, Hechi, and Zhongwei have further consolidated the domestic market advantage of Baiyun Airport. At present, the most widely covered area is East China, and the flights from Guangzhou to Hangzhou have reached 19 classes. The flights to Chongqing, Xi'an, Nanjing, Chengdu, Haikou, Kunming and other cities are also very dense, with an average of more than 10 daily classes.

While doing a good job of domestic flight protection, Baiyun Airport and airlines actively promote the recovery of the international aviation market. As of the end of July, Baiyun Airport has promoted or restored 15 international routes this year. At present, Baiyun Airport can directly navigate 39 international and regional passenger air points around the world, covering many countries in Europe, the Americas, Oceania, Africa and Asia.
