In the early thirties, what kind of responsibility is the year after standing? At the moment, some people live a bland and practical life at the age of 30, some shoulder the heavy responsibility of the family, and some people are still on the way to dream ... but 95 years ago, in the era of the Chinese nation's existence, rain Hua Yinglie Hou Shaoqiu's life is always at the age of 31.

Hou Shaoqiu once asked the world: What kind of youth should we do? He used his life and thoughts to get the answer, and presented youth and life for this "the ultimate purpose of life and the greatest responsibility".

Born in the late Qing Dynasty, Hou Shaoqiu grew up in the era of weakness and people's livelihood. At the age of 22, he was admitted to the Shanghai Industrial College of Shanghai Ministry of Communications and studied in civil engineering. He has excellent studies and can have been studying attentive and become the top civil engineering expert in China. But the tide of the times was endless, and the impermanence of the world led him to a very different orbit of life.

In 1919, the May 4th Patriotic Movement broke out. The 23 -year -old Hou Shaoqiu actively participated in the support of the event, shouted in the bustling crowd, generous words on various occasions, and made anti -emperor's remarks. Since then, he has founded the "Problem Weekly" and took over Jingxian Women's Middle School to carry out patriotic education and preaching revolutionary ideas.

He never stopped thinking: As a youth, how should he contribute to the saving of the country and the people? In the practice of rescue maps, under the collision and impact of various new trends of thought, his sight looked farther, and firmly chose the path of the Communist Revolution.

In 1923, Hou Shaoqiu joined the Communist Party of China. He wrote such a paragraph: "To determine that a person is not born for his own, is for society, for human beings, and the greatest happiness of the most people as the ultimate purpose and responsibility of life, and this responsibility. "

This is his answer to "what kind of youth should do". In the years of struggle, Hou Shaoqiu led the Shanghai academic community to invest in the May 30th Movement, established the first CCP organization in Suzhou, and was always active in the front line of the revolutionary movement, and practiced the vow of "the greatest happiness of the most people".

However, the wind and clouds changed, and the haze shrouded the sky in 1927. On the eve of the April Two anti -revolution coup, Hou Shaoqiu was unfortunately arrested when he participated in an emergency meeting in Nanjing. For danger, he was not unpredictable. Before going to Nanjing, he understood that "the knife is resting on the skull at any time." But in the end, he firmly believed in his faith, did not admire the high official Hou Lu, not afraid of torture torture, and resolutely presented his life for revolution, the country, the party, and the people.

Although the rain Hua Yinglie has been sleeping, the soul is sustainable and long -lasting. "The life of a person is not only one of them."
