The Xuelong Hydropower Station is the 12th level of the "One Store Level 13" development plan of the upstream hydropower planning of the Jinsha River. It is located in the jinsha River dry flow of the Jinsha River in Deqin County and Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The total investment of the project was 29.3 billion yuan, and the static investment was 22.5 billion yuan, which was built by the National Energy Group Jinshajiang Company.

The Xuelong Hydropower Station installed 4 streaming mixed -flow water -generating units, with a single machine capacity of 600,000 kilowatts and a total installed capacity of 2.4 million kilowatts. The normal water storage level of the power station is 2302 meters. The hub is mainly composed of concrete biscribuchia arch dams, dam -body leakage buildings and dam pad ponds, right bank underground diversion power generation systems and overfish facilities. The maximum dam height is 213 meters high. After the completion of the power station, the average annual average power generation is about 10.5 billion kilowatt -hours, and 3.15 million tons of coal can be saved each year and the carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 7.86 million tons.

The construction of the Xulong Hydropower Station marks important progress in promoting the construction of the Sands River National Hydropower Base in Yunnan Province. After the project is completed, it will further optimize the energy structure of the province, help the construction of strong green energy provinces, serve the country's "dual carbon" goals, and drive the nation to the nation.
