A spokesman for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government said that the SAR government has resolutely opposed any external forces to intervene in Chinese internal affairs, fully support and cooperate with all necessary measures adopted by the central government to resolutely defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.The SAR government will pay close attention to the development of the situation and keep in touch with the relevant units of the central government.
