The difference between personality disorders and other psychological disorders is that personality disorders not only affect one aspect of human life, such as anxiety or a series of distorted beliefs higher than normal levels, but also affects the adaptation of people's life.

This obstacle is personality itself, not one aspect of personality. Although personality disorders will affect the whole person, the current research shows that they are not always the lifelong nature as people once thought.

In personality disorders, people's behavior patterns and ways to associate with others will be too rigid and adaptable. This rigidity and cannot adapt to social needs and life changes, making it difficult for people with human disorder to integrate into others or have a relatively normal social relationship.

01

DSM-5 lists 10 major types of personality disorders in three basic categories:

Those who are considered strange or abnormal (paranoid type, division, division), those who have very dramatic, emotional or unstable (anti -social, marginal type, performance, narcissism), also Some of the main emotions are anxiety or fear (avoidance, dependency, compulsory type). These categories are marked as group A, group B, and group C, respectively.

障 Anti -social personality disorder

Anti -social personality disorder is one of the most studied personality disorders. People with ASPD are "anti -society" as the name suggests. Anti -society people may habitually violate the law, violate the rules, lie, ignore the rights and feelings of others, and use others.

People with ASPD may be angry or aggressive. These people may not abide by their commitments or other obligations, and they are always irresponsible. They may also seem to be indifferent to or be able to make excuses for using or hurting others.

Generally speaking, they borrow money or things, but they are too lazy to repay; they are impulsive. Whether in society or at work, they are often very selfish, self -centered, and good support. There are obvious gender differences among ASPD patients, and there are more men than women.

障 Edge -type personality disorder

The relationship between patients with edge personality disorders and others is tight and relatively unstable. They are impulsive, unstable self -consciousness, and they are very afraid of being abandoned. Life goals, career choices, friendship, and even sexual behaviors may change rapidly.

The characteristics of intimate personal relationships and romantic relationships are the extreme changes from idealization to demonization. It is not uncommon for depression. Some people may spend excessive consumption, abuse of drugs, or suicide (attempt to suicide may be part of the manipulation of others in the relationship).

In intimacy, emotions are usually inappropriate and excessive, with a tendency to destruct, accompanied by long -term loneliness and destructive anger. The probability of women suffering from this disease is almost three times that of men.

02

Cause of personality disorder:

Cognitive behavior theorists discuss how to learn specific behaviors through the process of strengthening, shaping and modeling. More cognitive interpretations include belief systems formed by those with personality disorders, such as paranoid, extreme self -importance, and fear of being unable to cope with paranoid, narcissism, and dependence.

There are some evidence that personality disorders are related to genetic factors. Compared with those who have no blood relationship, close relatives with anti -society, schizophrenia, and edge -shaped mental disorders are more likely to suffer from these mental disorders.

Studies on children with anti -social personality disorders with biological parents have shown that these children have higher risk of this disease, although they are raised by different people in different environments.

A vertical study associates the personality of 3 -year -old children with an adult anti -social tendency. In subsequent studies, it was found that children with lower fear and depression are more likely to show the personality characteristics of the opposition society at the age of 28.

Other causes of personality disorder have been proposed. Compared with others, anti -social personality response is slow when facing stress or threats, which may be one of the reasons why they are not afraid of being arrested.

This dull response seems to be related to the below the normal level of the anti -social human body than the normal level. Family relations and communication disorders are also related to personality disorders, especially for anti -social personality disorders. Children's abuse, neglect, excessive education, excessive protection, and parents' rejection are all considered possible, which makes the development of personality disorders a complex issue.

It is certain that many factors (genetic, social relationships, and education) that help form ordinary personality can also cause personality disorders.
