On August 9, the Yangtze Railway Group Co., Ltd. issued a bidding announcement to conduct public bidding on the "New Establishment of the Yuguzhong Line Railway (including Shiling South Station)". This indicates that the preliminary design work of the high -speed rail high -speed rail project that has attracted much attention is basically completed, and it is about to enter the review and approval stage, which is one step closer to the official start target.

The bidding announcement shows that the project owners of the Chongqing and Sichuan sections of the project are Chongqing Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Co., Ltd. of the Yangtze River Railway Group, respectively. The source of construction funds is the China Railway Group, Chongqing, Sichuan Province, and domestic bank loans. The construction funds have been implemented. The bidding mainly reviews the construction drawing of the newly built Yuzhong Line Railway (including Shiling South Station). The winning bidders shall assist in the completion of the preliminary design of the project project and be responsible for completing the review and checking of the construction design documents of the project.

The newly established Yuzhong Line Railway (including Shiling South Station) was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2021. The project includes Chongqing North Station (inclusive) to Chengdu Station (inclusive) and the reconstruction and related supporting projects caused by the introduction of both ends (including Chengdu Hub's Migration Project). 100 million yuan, a total construction period of 5 years, a design speed of 350 km/h, and the minimum plane curve radius of 7,000 meters (5500 meters in difficulty). The use of standards that are compatible with driving speed also means that this section reserves further acceleration space.

The Chengyu Middle Line High Speed ​​Rail is the iconic project of the Shuangcheng Economic Circle in Chengdu and Chongqing. In September 2021, Sichuan and Chongqing held the launch of the construction of the Chengyu Middle Line High -speed Railway at the same time, announcing that the fourth railway channel construction of the "dual -core" of Chengdu -Chongqing was fully launched.
