Beer, barbecue, peanuts, edamame, this is a limited summer. However, sometimes, we may eat bad stomach if we are not careful. At this time, in addition to not eating around to regulate the stomach, the intestinal flora inside our body will also control the immune system to help us recover health as soon as possible.

In addition to playing an important role in digestion, regulating human immune function, resistance to diseases, and producing the necessary vitamins, it is surprising that it is also silently controlled and reflects our emotions.

Think back, do you feel very happy when you eat delicious things, and when your emotions are low, you will want to eat some delicious emotions to relieve your sadness. At the same time, your emotions will be reflected on the gastrointestinal tract -tension is not a description, but what will really happen in life.

So how does the intestine affect our mood? The key lies in the pathway between the brain and the intestine -the vagus nerve.

The vagus nerve allows us to complete breathing, swallowing and digestion without thinking. The nerve connects our brain stem to the digestive organs, and these nerve fibers are eventually embedded in the inner layers of our digestive organs.

This "highway" allows our brains and intestines to "communicate with each other." When intestinal bacteria decompose food particles, they will produce metabolites, and the vagus nerves can perceive them. In turn, this nerve transmits this information to the brain to regulate the digestion process. However, the stress will close the vagus nerves and prevent them from performing these important tasks. If the vagus nerve is stressed without response, it will not release anti -inflammatory molecules that can alleviate inflammation. This also explains why we have diarrhea when the pressure mentioned earlier.

Today, the academic community has recognized the importance of brain-intestinal shafts to maintain the importance of the body, and actively study its impact on our emotions.

Earlier, scientific researchers from Philadelphia conducted a systematic experiment, hoping to find the effects of microorganisms in the intestinal tract on emotions and psychological sensibility.

Researchers divide the rats involved in the test -one group is the control group, which only rest on their own territory; the other is a social conflict group, and they will be placed in another rats who have to fight. In the territory, a series of tension between the two will inevitably conduct a series of swordsmanship. Researchers analyze their feces samples to compare the changes in microorganisms in their intestine.

After a period of repeated conflict, the content of bacteria and amptosoma in the social conflict group is higher, and the content of mobilization is less. Bacillus microorganisms contain a variety of anti -inflammatory substances, and the increase in deprivulia is usually related to inflammation. Their increase is a healthy response made by emergency verification.

However, the performance of rats in the social conflict group is not the same -some confidence faces challenges, and some lay flat. The content of the two flora on these rats is also different -after a few days of conflict, the proportion of bacteria and acetae in the self -confident rats is increasing. The proportion did not show adaptive changes.

What happened in the test of rats also appeared on our humans.

In an analysis of the dung samples of patients with clinical depression, scientists have found that compared with non -depression patients, there are more microorganisms such as enteropiacology in the intestines in patients with depression, but there are fewer Proma. Moreover, the less this kind of achoma, the more severe the symptoms of depression.

Now that scientists have begun to find the connection between microorganisms and the brain, it may bring new treatment methods. Some doctors and pharmaceutical companies are already exploring typical probiotics that treat depression -oral bacteria supplements, although they usually do not include lack of intestinal microorganisms found in new studies.

Although our research and understanding of intestinal microorganisms is still in the early stages, it is undeniable that intestinal microorganisms on our emotions.

As our "second brain", the intestine affects human health in a maverick behavior. Next time I encounter unhappy things, eating something delicious may really make your mood better.
