On August 8th, during the survey of resource base surveys, Hubei Nanhe National Nature Reserve found a plant like white jade, so the plant photos were passed on to Professor Zhang Daigui of Jishou University to identify, and the initial identification was seven -sons. On the 10th, Zhang Daigui sent the photo to the researcher Jiang Mingxi, Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was confirmed. Because the plant leaves taken by the mobile phone are not clear, further verification is needed. On the 12th, Jiang Mingxi came to the scene to observe the shape of the plant's leaves and the back of the leaf back, and compared the photo of the pattern specimen. It was found that the two fits high and confirmed that the plant is a seven -child flower.

"A cluster of clean white flowers bloom branches, which is very spectacular." Jiang Mingxi said that the seven -child flower plants found in the Nanhe Nature Reserve this time are distributed in the community, with an area of nearly 1,000 acres, and the maximum chest diameter of the plant is 20 cm.

Qizihua blooms Hubei again, and has updated the industry's cognition. According to reports, British botanist Wilson found Qizi flowers for the first time in Xingshan, Hubei in 1907. The sample specimen of Qizi Flower was in Harvard University Specification Museum, and the specimen number No.2232. Since 115 years, the species has not been found in the origin of the model specimen. Many experts believe that seven -sons may be extinct in Hubei. At present, the latest research results will be distributed in the Qizi flower in Zhejiang and Anhui Province as the Qizi flower in Zhejiang, and the seven -sons of Zhejiang are listed as a sub -species of Qizi flowers.

Qizi Flower is a unique species in my country. It is the first batch of second -level second -level key protection wild plants. It has been included in the highly endangered species in the key category of Chinese quilt plants and the priority protection of Chinese biological diversity protection operations.

Since 2020, the Nanhe Nature Reserve in Gucheng County and the provinces and foreign scientific research institutions have carried out the investigation and scientific research monitoring of the resource -based base, and gradually found out the resource home of the protected area to provide a basis for maintaining biological diversity.

According to the person in charge of the Hubei Nanhe National Nature Reserve Management Bureau, the protected area will increase the construction of the protection, investigation, scientific research monitoring and germplasm resource libraries of Qizi flower resources to ensure that the species is scientifically protected.
