In April 2022, Ningbo became the third batch of digital renminbi pilot cities in the country, and has now been applied to digital government affairs, smart consumption, digital countryside and other scenarios.

From August 15th, digital RMB is applied in the entire network of Ningbo Rail Transit, which is a new scene in the field of transportation in our city.

Digital RMB APP: Easy to open wallet

1. Download Digital RMB (pilot version) app

Users search for "Digital RMB (pilot version)" in the application market to complete the download and installation.

2. Register and log in, open a digital wallet

(1) Open the digital RMB app, register and log in.

New user selection page "New User Registration" on the page;

Old users choose "already have an account, log in now";

(2) Open digital wallet

New users → Open the Digital RMB APP → Click on the homepage "+" to open or add a digital wallet → select the bank.

Old users → Open Digital RMB APP → Click "My" → Click "Open or Add Digital Wallets" → Choose a bank.

3. Upgrade to three types of wallets

After opening, the default is the four types of wallets, which need to be upgraded to the wallet. After the upgrade, you can open a digital RMB -free payment on the Ningbo Metro APP. The process of upgrading the digital wallet is as follows:

(1) The user finds the digital wallet to be upgraded on the homepage. Click the wallet area to realize the wallet flip. After flipping, click […] to enter the wallet management page.

(2) User on the [Wallet Management] page click [Upgrade Wallet], and select the wallet type to upgrade as needed.

1. Download "Ningbo Metro APP" and choose my wallet

2. Select digital RMB payment, and choose banks to open

You can choose a bank to open up

3. Verify information signing Digital RMB -free payment

It is reported that during this trial period, the Ningbo Metro APP was launched on five banking channels for workers, agriculture, construction, transportation, and postal reservations, and will continue to update payment channels.
