Children's Book Care: How did the Danish national treasure mermaid statue born?

This illustration is drawn from the "Andersen Fairy Tale" published in London in 1932. It is drawn by the illustrator Arthur Lakm and depicts the story of Andersen's fairy tale "Little Mermaid".

The little mermaid fell in love with the prince. In exchange for his legs, he sold his voice to the evil maritime witch. But unfortunately, she never got her prince and eventually became a bubble. This sad story is famous at home and abroad. The logo of the Danish Kingdom is from the story of the little mermaid in Copenhagen.

In 1909, the composer Feni Henryk created the ballet of the same name based on "Little Mermaid". Karl Yagbuson, the founder of Carlber beer beer, was deeply moved after watching the watch. This statue was created in 1913.

More than a hundred years have passed, and the little mermaid is still sitting quietly on the stone seat on the coast, as if she is waiting for her beloved prince. In 2012, the Denmark placed a statue of a prince at the port of Helsine in the north to accompany the little mermaid in the port of Copenhagen.
