Weihe, the northwestern region of Lu, and the Jiehe River in the southern Hebei region originated from the Taihang Mountains. It has been remitted into Haihe all the way north. For thousands of years, it has nurtured the hard -working and brave Chinese children on both sides of the strait.

However, during the War of Resistance Against Japan, this river that should have benefited from the people was controlled by the Japanese army, becoming the "sky" that cut off the two anti -Japanese bases in northwestern Luneng and southern Hebei.

In order to break the division and blockade of the enemy's base, in the winter of 1938, the Northwest Land Committee of the Communist Party of China established a working team along the Weihe Village in Donggu Town, Donggu Town, Guanxian County. Under the leadership, using door panels, wooden boats, rafts, and large jellyfish, through the way of ferry or setting up floating bridges, to assist the party, government and military cadres, the Eighth Route Army soldiers crossed the river, and strongly support the Anti -Japanese War.

On July 7, 1937, after the outbreak of the Lugou Bridge Incident, the Japanese army occupied Guanxian, the Kuomintang county government fled south, and the territory of Guanxian was chaotic. In order to strengthen public security, the Japanese army built artillery buildings on both sides of Weihe, and controlled all the vessels in nearby villages.

Weihe is a secret liaison line between the two anti -Japanese base areas northwest and southern Hebei. It is an important link connecting the Taihang, Shandong and China Middle Anti -Japanese Base Land. In order to break the enemy's blockade and ensure that the "red traffic line" on the water on the water of Weihe is unblocked. In the winter of 1938, Wang Jianhong, a member of Wang Anshang Village, and others, in the Lifangh Wan, Wang Anti, Banzhuang and other villages along the coast of Weihe. Some advanced elements who can ferry and burst into the floating bridge mobilize them to actively participate in the struggle against Japanese invaders.

Soon, under the leadership of the Northwest Army Division, these blood -blooded young people formed a semi -produced Weihe work team. Bingan Bing'an, a 88 -year -old villager in Banzhuang Village, recalled that the first and second teams of the Weihe Working Team were stationed in Banzhuang Village. Every time there is a mission of crossing the river, people in the villagers will try to gather the door panels and bars of the family into rafts. With the growth of the anti -Japanese armed forces and the needs of the war situation, the increasing number of people on the traffic line of Weihe traffic, and the rude crossing tools have not met the needs of the situation. To this end, more than 100 wooden boats were built in Jilu and Yu's Third Army Division. During the day, the ships such as the ship were hidden in the nearby farmers' homes, and the ship was pulled to the river to perform the ferry task at night.

In September 1942, Liu Shaoqi, then Secretary of the Central Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, took the ship of the Weihe Working Team from Guanxian, crossed the Weihe River into Hebei Province, and successfully reached the place where the division of the 139th division was located. During the liberation war, when Liu Deng's army went south, the Weihe Working Team organized a capable force to escort the People's Liberation Army through Weihe, which helped Liu Deng's strategic task to successfully complete the strategic task of thousands of miles into Dabie Mountain.

In the era of war fire, this "red traffic line" successively assisted more than 10,000 party, government and military cadres, and countless soldiers crossed the river, making immortal merits for the party and the people.

A newspaper tells a past

The Liberation Daily is the first large -scale newspaper of the Communist Party of China in Yan'an. It is the first large -scale daily published by the Anti -Japanese Democratic Base.

On August 7, 1942, "Liberation Daily" reported the "Beiyang Fort Battle" that took place in the "Beiyang Fort" in Hantao County, Hebei Province based on the Tao Beiyangbao Bloody Blood Blood Two Blood Battle.

On July 8, 1942, the Japanese army gathered more than 3,000 people and took 300 cars. It followed the southern south of the Qiu County Museum to "sweep" the south of Hebei, in an attempt to eliminate the northern south of the Hebei Army and guerrillas on both sides of the highway.

On July 11, 1942, Jizhong Police Brigade was ordered to set off from Shenxian County and Hengshui, Hebei, and concentrated through the south of Hebei to Yanggu and Fan County. At dawn on July 13, a coalition with the Japanese army who was "sweeping" encountered near Beiyangbao Village.

At that time, there were only five consecutive troops in the second regiment. They were responsible for defending a total of more than 500 people in the Central District Party Committee, the Office of the Central District, and the Military Region. According to the analysis of the brigade commander Wang Changjiang and the political commissar, the army believed that the troops continued to march in succession and were very tired. In addition, they were unfamiliar with their lives. The enemy's bunkers are lined with strict blockade. The marching during the day is bound to encounter with the enemy and fall into passive. So the two agreed that they entered the village and kept standby.

After the troops entered the village, they blocked all the news, blocked the village entrance and hutong entrance, dug the courtyard, protect the wells, hurry up to cook, and mobilize the masses to hide outside the house and disperse.

The Japanese approached quickly and surrounded Beiyangbao Village. With a favorable terrain, our army hit the enemy. The battle lasted for 12 hours.

In the night, the wind suddenly rose, and the sky was dark. Police brigades who are accustomed to night war indicate that the opportunity has arrived and mobilizes the masses from home to break through with the troops. In order not to go away, the soldiers tied their legs and pulled the masses. The soldiers opened the way with the machine gun and bayonet. God rushed out of the enemy's gaps unconsciously and jumped out of the encirclement. Dai Jingren from Guanxian Rong Media Center has studied this period of history. "After the Hebei Police Travel leads the masses to break through, it is the ship of the Weihe Working Team through Weihe." A stone bridge connects this year

There is a lighthouse bridge less than 5 kilometers from the original site of Banzhuang Ferry. It is located between Tao Town and Matou Village, Beidong County, Guanxian County. It crosses the Wei Canal and is an important channel connecting Shandong and Hebei Province.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was inconvenient to cross the river by the people on both sides of the widow through the way. In 1958, the Shandong Provincial Department of Transportation was designed to report to the Soviet experts for review and the approval of relevant state departments. The lighthouse bridge was built in the northwest of the North Pavilion.

In 2019, Guanxian allocated special funds to repair the lighthouse bridge, replaced the bridge support, guardrails, reinforced the bridge base and embankment, replaced the bridge surface paving, replaced the expansion joint, the main body of the bridge highlight the "lighthouse" logo and Words, and set up party building cultural products (monuments, lighthouse sculptures) to introduce the history of bridge construction. On August 1, 2020, the lighthouse bridge was completed and officially opened to traffic.
