Promoting the radiation protection business to a new level, the annual meeting and forum of the China Radiation Protection Society

The reporter learned from the National Atomic Energy Agency that from August 17th to 19th, the China Radiation Protection Society 2021/2022 Academic Annual Conference and the 19th/20th meeting of the Early 21st Century Radiation Protection Forum were held online.

Dong Bao, deputy director of the National Atomic Energy Agency, stated in his opening ceremony that the radiation protection business is the basic guarantee for nuclear energy safety, healthy, and sustainable development. The China Radiation Protection Society has carried out a lot of effective work in domestic and foreign academic exchanges and cooperation, decision -making consulting and scientific and technological services, popular science publicity and public communication, organizational construction and member services, and made important contributions to ensuring the development of my country's nuclear industry security. As the competent authority of my country's nuclear industry and the competent business department of the Society, the National Atomic Energy Agency will continue to care about supporting the work of the Society and promote my country's radiation protection industry to continue to a new level.

Dong Baotong mentioned that the next step of the Chinese Institute of Radiation Protection must focus on cutting -edge exploration and strive to improve the level of research on radiation protection science and technology in my country; actively act as a role in the spread of nuclear technology knowledge and public communication. The level of international exchanges and cooperation; adhering to service -oriented, truly becomes a "home of science and technology workers" radiation protection.

This year's academic conference invited 11 senior academicians and experts in the field of radiation protection in China for reports of the conference, and set up 14 professional branch venues for special exchanges. The meeting also commended the Science and Technology Award of the China Radiation Protection Society in 2021, the Outstanding Branch of the Chinese Radiation Protection Society, the outstanding workers of the branch, and organized the theme activities of the Youth Committee.

It is understood that the annual academic annual meeting is one year, which is the most complete, largest, and most influential academic exchange platform set up for national radiation protection technology workers. In the early 21st century, the Radiation Protection Forum selected one theme each year and formed the conference suggestions to provide reference for the formulation of radiation protection and related discipline policies and strategic research, preparation and planning, improvement and strengthening radiation protection technology and management.

This session is co -organized by the China Radiation Protection Society and the Science and Technology Commission of China Nuclear Industry Group Co., Ltd., co -organized by the China Institute of Radiation Protection, the Chinese Institute of Atomic Energy, and the China Institute of Disease Control and Control and Control and Control.
