"I can't wait to go back to China"

Everything starts with a teapot.

We all have such experiences: searching for online searching for time to eliminate time. I am the same, I have been looking for an antique teapot. After a few times in the mouse, I saw some pottery sculpture teapots.

£ 1 million (about 8.17 million yuan) teapot? This must be international joke. However, the result of discovering this is that I eventually went to Yixing tourism in China. And this Chinese city greatly exceeded me.

I like adventure. I have never heard of Yixing or Jiangsu Province, where I was. In addition to stereotypes, Chinese food and news reports I think, I know very little about China. Of course, I did n’t have any expectations to be warmly welcomed, and I did n’t expect that the ancient culture and the shiny modernization could be integrated; I thought that China was full of factories and chimneys with black smoke, and the tradition was destroyed.

Yixing quickly challenged my common sense. First of all, it is very beautiful: a series of small villages, the streets are all shops made of wooden wood. The streams are winding, and the arch bridges everywhere are embellished on it. On the sparkling Taihu Lake, the dragon kiln with a history of hundreds of years extends into the hills. Overlooking all this is Huanglong Mountain, a dangerous mountain peak full of dark purple clay. The locals have always used the clay on the Huanglong Mountain to make a teapot.

In Yixing's handicraft shop, the sincere and friendly locals gave me the fragrant green tea. They talked to me enthusiastically and talked about travel. After drinking tea, they took out the teapot and were so careful like the workers who made glass in Venice holding a precious lampshade. They are so exquisite -dark brown and purple cylindrical pots are carved with exquisite gold and silver wire flower patterns.

Ancient culture was lively in China. My guide said that in fact, traditional Chinese culture is being revived. However, in order to understand the Chinese life, they said that I need to see Nanjing, the provincial capital of Jiangsu Province. So we got on the high -speed rail train: the porcelain white metal appearance, the inside was cool and smooth, as quiet as the breeze of the summer. At a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, it passed through rice fields, highways and lakes to send us to Nanjing.

"There are many high -speed rail trains in China now." Friends said to me lightly on the road. Later, I learned that from Harbin, Northeast City near Russia to Kunming in the southwest, the mileage of the high -speed rail in China reached more than 40,000 kilometers.

The high -speed rail train slowly entered Nanjing South Railway Station, where there are sparkling metals and glass everywhere. Nanjing is like the epitome of China -it is a fusion of classical and modern. In the old town, the statue of Confucius was under the mountain wall of the Master Temple with a history of nearly a thousand years, looking at the shining neon skyscraper by the quiet Qinhuai River. The commuters stepped on the wooden buildings next to the narrow streets, and rushed to pass by. The hairdressers cut their hair under the old brick walls. The fashion trendy people sat in the teahouse and drank green tea and ate cakes.

This is also a modern city. Nanjing New Town, which is adjacent to the old town of Nanjing, has towering skyscrapers, stadiums and bridges, highways and large shopping malls. These have appeared in the past ten years, and now the scale has exceeded Birmingham.

That night, my friend took me to a fashionable restaurant with floor -to -ceiling glass windows next to the Middle Ages of Nanjing. Friends use rice wine to wish me return soon. There is still a bottle of rice wine in my house. When the global epidemic was gradually relieved, I took this agar and jade liquid, and my heart was a country with vast, classical and modern integration of China, and the Chinese people with enthusiastic hospitality. There are too many pasts and infinite future in this country. I eager to return and understand it further.
