——Lijiang Baba

Lijiang Baba is a unique cuisine of the Naxi people. It has a long history and is famous for western Yunnan. It is golden, fragrant, crispy and delicious, and is not easy to deteriorate. It was once the dry food spoiled by the Chama Ancient Malaysia.

As one of the traditional flavor snacks in Lijiang, when Xu Xiake, a large traveler in the Ming Dynasty, was hosted by Lijiang, he had narrated the feeling of tasteing "Crispy Wild Permanelo" and "Crispy Noodle Cake" in "The Seventh Diary of the Dianyou Diary". "Crispy" and "Pastor Poispy Cake" are today's Lijiang Baba.

In terms of taste, Lijiang Baba has sweet and salty flavors, and sweet ones: white sugar and brown sugar; salty ones generally have two types: ham and salt and pepper. When eating Lijiang Baba, you can use butter tea, soy milk, milk clear tea, coffee, etc. according to different tastes.

Because of its cultural, civilian, and characteristic, Lijiang Baba has become a gourmet label of Lijiang. Whether it is selection of materials, production processes or processing skills, it has deeply burned the mark of Naxi culture. This folk food full of historical heritage, cultural background, and regional characteristics was included in the city -level intangible cultural heritage protection project list in 2013; in 2017, it was included in the provincial intangible cultural heritage protection project list.
