As an important part of the construction of the Cangzhou Grand Canal Ecological Corridor, the Grand Canal Lighting Project adheres to the "minimum intervention" principle of cultural protection, as well as the concept of green, ecological, and energy -saving. The Canal coast and bridge brightening project fully consider the light color tone and color temperature, and use LED environmental protection energy -saving lamps. The overall lighting brightness is concentrated in level 3 and 4. The energy consumption is much smaller than the traditional lamps, which truly achieves "green" lighting.

The position and angle of each beam of light on the Grand Canal is carefully designed by the builder. The lighting design adopts a combination of "point -line -surface" to show a multi -level, three -dimensional, far -end lining, and high and low river scene.

Waters on both sides of the strait are uniformly used with ice and blue light. Tree lights on both sides of the strait are warm light. The pier steps use a warm -colored lamp belt. The pillars of the pavilion gallery are warm -colored shooting lights. The bridge deck uses flowing water racelight, gradient breathing lights, colorful external control wall lamps, water pattern wall lamps, etc., combining lights with landscapes to provide citizens with a comfortable light and shadow experience.

According to Ran Chuan, the head of the Lightning Project of the 22nd Bureau of China Railway, the lighting project was constructed by the Cangzhou Grand Canal Development (Group) Co., Ltd., and was undertaken by the China Railway 20th Bureau Group and the China Railway 22nd Bureau Group. After the completion of the lighting project, it will add color to the Grand Canal, further enhance the image of Cangzhou, and will drive the economic development of the night market.

After the Litong River Ecological Corridor in the Central District of Cangzhou is fully lit, citizens can enjoy the "pretty" scene of the day and the "bright" scene of the night along the river. In the future, the Grand Canal will also show Cangzhou's characteristic folk culture, river industry, and red culture through lighting, projection, information and audiovisual technology, and "visualize" culture to create a new highland for the Grand Canal culture.
