From 0:00 to 24:00 on August 23, 2022, two new cases in the city entered related local diagnosis cases. An additional overseas input confirmed cases and 7 asymptomatic infected infected inputs were added, and another 1 case was previously announced by those who had previously announced an overseas input.

As of 24:00 on August 23, 2022, there were 6,699 cases of new crowdonic lung inflammatory infections in the city. Among them, 3280 cases were confirmed (2284 inputs overseas, 996 localities), and 75 cases were still treated in the hospital; 3,419 cases of asymptomatic infected (3,158 inputs were entered overseas and 261 were local), and 34 cases were still observed in medicine.

Case 1: Male, 35 years old.

Case 2: Female, 33 years old.

Cases 1 and 2 are husband and wife, living in Dengfeng Street, Yuexiu District. In the early morning of August 23, the two went to the Provincial Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for a popular kidney consultation for the fever. During the period of stay, the results of the nucleic acid testing were positive, and the samples were re -reviewed. New crown pneumonia light cases are currently stable.

According to the results of epidemiological surveys and laboratory testing, the possibility of infection with the transit personnel from other provinces is high. The densely connected and sub -dense -connected persons have been implemented and controlled, and the places involved are controlled and strictly implemented disinfection measures.

Newly added 1 overseas input confirmation case and 7 cases of asymptomatic infection infected

One new overseas input diagnosis case was added to Vietnam; 7 cases of non -symptoms were newly entered overseas, namely Tanzania, Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, New Zealand, and 2 cases in Saudi Arabia.

After entering the above -mentioned confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected people, they are transferred to the centralized isolation point according to the full closed -loop management program. During the isolation period, the positive nuclear acidic acid is the isolation treatment of the eight hospitals affiliated to the city of Guangzhou Medical University.
