The construction of the Pinglu Canal of the Western Luhai New Channel of the Western Land and Sea

On August 28, the Pinglu Canal of the Pinglu Canal of the Western Land and Sea New Channel officially started construction. This canal in Guangxi connects Xijiang dry flow and Beibu Gulf International hub seaport. After its completion, it will open a large channel for Jianghai Lianyong to the south of the southwest of my country.

The Pinglu Canal began at the Pingtang River Estuary of Xijinku District, Hengzhou City, Guangxi. It entered the Beibu Gulf along the Qinjiang River through Luwu Town, Lingshan County, Guangxi, with a total length of about 135 kilometers, of which about 6.5 kilometers were excavated in the watersheds. The development tasks of this project are mainly developing shipping, combined with water supply, irrigation, flood prevention, and improved the ecological environment of the water.
