On August 27, the global overseas Chinese in 2022 promoted the China Peaceful Unification Conference in Sichuan. Zheng Jianbang, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and vice chairman of the China Peaceful Unity Promotion Association, delivered a video speech.

Zheng Jianbang emphasized that the unity of the motherland is the general trend of history and the inevitable requirement for the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Opposing the division of "Taiwan independence" and promoting China's peaceful unity are the common voice and glorious cause of Chinese children at home and abroad. The theme of the conference is "Adhere to the principle of China and the" 1992 Consensus "to create a national unity and national rejuvenation."
