From the perspective of our country, in the past month, high temperatures and rainy weather continued to affect the Sichuan Basin to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. These areas have shown medium to severe meteorological droughts, and the local area has reached special drought, which is not conducive to the prevention and control of forest and grassland fires. According to expert analysis and judgment: In late August, the high temperature and rainy weather in the Sichuan Basin and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River will continue. In addition, the continuous high temperature drought, the water content of the vegetation in the forest area is extremely low. Disaster, Sichuan Basin and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are still very dangerous.

There are still weak links in forest fire prevention and control

Since August this year, the State Forestry Bureau has reported nearly 50 forest fires. Except for a thunderstorm fire from the Daxinganling area, the rest are concentrated in some provinces in the Sichuan Basin and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Among the 11 people who have been identified, there are 4 sacrifice fires and 2 farm fire. Shi Mountain and wires are short -circuit.

Wang Haizhong said that in addition to the extreme weather factors of high temperature and drought, these 11 people also reflected that there are still some problems in our fire prevention work: First, some cadres and employees have not been in place, and they are not grasped by the current high -temperature drought.
