Focus on the "rural revitalization" in Yungai Village, Guangji Town, Mianzhu City, Sichuan to vigorously develop the bamboo shoot industry to help farmers increase their income

In order to consolidate and expand the results of poverty alleviation and effectively connect with the rural rejuvenation, in recent years, Yungai Village, Guangji Town, Mianzhu City, Sichuan, adapted to local conditions, innovative cooperation models, large -scale construction bases, and improved deep processing, and promoted the sustainable and healthy development of bamboo shoots.

The village has established a Yungai Planting Cooperative to register the "West Sichuan Pass" trademark and absorb 161 farmers.The business model of "Company + Locomment + Farmers" radiates more than 300 surrounding farmers to engage in the bamboo shoot industry.At present, there are more than 1,200 acres of bamboo in the village, with an annual output of more than 600 tons of fresh bamboo shoots.

This year, Yungai Village also applied for rural revitalization to connect 120,000 yuan, integrated 100,000 yuan of funds for the village economy, and built the primaries of bamboo shoots, drying, and packaging production lines.Focusing on the deep processing of Nanzhu bamboo shoots and square bamboo shoots, a marketing model integrating acquisition, sales and processing is established, and products are sold in Deyang, Chengdu and other places.

It is reported that in 2022, Yungai Village produced more than 400,000 pounds of bamboo shoots, with a total sales value of nearly 1 million yuan, and average households increased by more than 5,000 yuan.
