The kindergarten involved is located on Zaoyuan West Road, Lianhu District, Xi'an. It is a private kindergarten. There are 3 grades of 19 classes in a total of 637 children in the garden. Due to children's collective discomfort symptoms, classes have been suspended.

Some parents reported that more than a hundred children in the kindergarten had symptoms of physical discomfort to varying degrees. Symptoms are basically high fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Some parents said that their children had fever to 39.8 ° C, and some were even as high as 41 ° C.

On June 19, the Lianhu District Disease Control Center went to the kindergarten to conduct investigation. Experts from the provincial and municipal centers of the Municipal Disease Control and Prevention found a total of 135 cases, and the patient's respiratory discharge and feces were extracted.

On June 23, the special staff organized by the Education Bureau of Lianhu District said that the preliminary judgment given by the Provincial Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was the infection of Salmonella, and the source of infection was still under investigation.

At present, the Lianhu District Weijian, Disease Control, and market supervision departments have investigated the kindergarten case to urge the improvement of the hardware facilities in kindergartens and ensure that the monitoring is full coverage.
