Newborn spots are a congenital, benign vascular hyperplasia, also known as simple moles, neonatal erythema, salmon spots, bite printing or angel kisses.It shows the pink to red spots on the baby's skin, and it can be a single or more.

Newborn moles can be found in 40% to 60% of babies, which are most common in the middle part of the eyelids, eyebrows, and necks, followed by the scalp, nose, lips and back.

Newborn moles are usually faded within 1 to 2 years old, but the lesions on the neck and back can remain unchanged for a long time, and there are generally no adverse consequences.
