There are currently 605 species of terrestrial wild vertebrates in Hebei

On June 22, hosted by the Provincial Forestry Bureau and the Provincial Wildlife Protection Association, co -organized by Shijiazhuang Forestry Bureau and Shijiazhuang Zoo. The zoo is held, which aims to popularize the knowledge of wildlife protection through promotion of relevant laws and regulations of wildlife protection, improve the awareness of the protection of wildlife in the whole society, and promote the healthy development of wildlife protection in Hebei Province.

At the event, the representative of the wild animal protection volunteers issued wild animal initiatives to the general public. The staff of the Provincial Forestry Cao Bureau, the Provincial Wildlife Protection Association, the staff of the Shijiazhuang Forestry Bureau, and the wild animal protection volunteers and tourists have signed their names on the initiative. The staff of the Provincial Forest Press Bureau carried out the interpretation of the relevant laws and regulations of wildlife protection on the spot to popularize the knowledge of how to protect wildlife scientifically, and distribute publicity materials such as wildlife protection publicity albums and other promotional materials for tourists.

At present, there are 605 species of terrestrial wild vertebrates in our province, including 486 species of birds, 87 mammals, 8 amphibians, and 24 species of reptiles. Among them, there are 43 types of national first -level protection of terrestrial wild animals, 99 national second -level protection of terrestrial wildlife, and 164 species of provincial key protection of terrestrial wild animals. Our province is not only an important breeding habitat for brown horse chicken, leopard, black -mouther gull, and big 鸨, etc., but also an important international migrant bird migration channel. Tens of millions of migratory birds are stopped and foraged in our province each year.
