The Daxingzhai Reservoir is dominated by flood prevention functions, combined with water supply and irrigation, and takes into account ecological hydration. The main construction content includes three parts: hub, water supply, and irrigation district. The maximum dam height of the engine dam is 68.5 meters, the width of the dam top is 10 meters, and the length of the dam top is 287.5 meters. The normal water storage level of the reservoir was 310.0 meters, the total reservoir was 113 million cubic meters, and the average daily water supply was 285,000 cubic meters. The irrigation area of ​​engineering design is 24,700 mu, and the average irrigation water volume of many years is 8.11 million cubic meters.

After the project is completed, it will comprehensively improve the urban flood prevention capacity and water supply guarantee capacity of Jishou City, Xiangxi Prefecture, and improve the irrigation conditions of the agricultural industry in Jishou City. The flood control capacity will be increased from 10 years to 50 years. At the same time, it will further enrich tourism resources. Improve the ecological environment of the Luohe River Basin, promote rural rejuvenation in ethnic areas and high -quality economic and social development.
