At 8 pm that day, Zhao Yingzheng, the captain of the Bridge Detachment of the Yangtze River Rescue Volunteer Bridge Detachment, patrolled with several team members in the river. "The shores under the bridge are 45 degrees steep slopes. Once a person slides down, it is very laborious, so we now patrolled the life ring and life rope." Zhao Ying said.

When they patrolled the 500 meters away from the Parrot Island Bridge, they found abnormalities. Two adults in the water were pushing one child hard, hoping to push them ashore. The man is calling for help. Zhao Ying and other four team members immediately rushed over, put the life ring on the drowning person, and asked them to pull the life rope to climb the steep slope. In this way, the three were pulled back to the shore, and the entire rescue process was less than five minutes. After asking the situation afterwards, it turned out that a mother took the child to play with her children. The child accidentally fell into the water. The mother and a kind person on the shore jumped off the water to save people, but because they were not familiar with water, they could not go ashore.

Talking about this successful rescue experience, Zhao Ying told reporters: "We have fully learned the lessons of previous experience, and then mastered the skills of saving people on the steep slope." It turned out that just two days ago, the same falling water point had a falling point. Similar situations occur. "At that time, a family of three was playing here. The children fell into the water. Moms and dads went to the water to save people one after another. As a result, the children came up, but the two adults could hardly swim ashore."
