After the meeting, OPEC issued a statement saying that the meeting once again confirmed the output adjustment plan and monthly output adjustment mechanism approved by the 19th and 29th Ministerial Meeting, which raised the monthly output of August 648,000 barrels.

In April 2020, due to the impact of oil demand for the new crown epidemic, OPEC and non -OPEC oil -producing country, that is, the "OPEC+" cooperation mechanism reached a production reduction agreement. In July 2021, "OPEC+" reached an agreement at the 19th Ministerial Meeting, agreed to gradually increase its monthly output every month according to the market situation from August that year.

At the beginning of June this year, "OPEC+" decided at the 29th Ministerial Meeting to distribute the average increase in production in September this year to July and August. Therefore, the output target of "OPEC+" in September this year was unreasonable.

Recently, international crude oil prices wandered around $ 110 per barrel. Major oil consumer countries have previously urged "OPEC+" to expand the scale of increasing yield in order to calm down oil prices and relieve inflation pressure, but "OPEC+" insists on implementing its moderate production plan.

The 31st Ministerial Meeting of OPEC and the Non -OPEC oil country will be held on August 3 this year.
