Yangcheng Evening News Reporters Zhao Yingguang and Ant Luya reported: On the 2nd, the reporter learned from the relevant departments that due to the flow of typhoon "Siaba", around 7:10 on the 2nd, Douwen Village, Futuang Town, Chaoyang Town, Chao'an City, Chaozhou City Tornado appears. On the morning of the 2nd, the phenomenon of "dragon suction water" occurred in the waters near the Qing'ao Bay of Nan'ao Island in Shantou. Both places have no casualties reports.

It is understood that through the preliminary verification of Chaozhou Meteorological Bureau and Chao'an District Emergency Administration, the tornado appeared in Douwen Village, Futang Town, Chao'an District, Chaozhou, and the tornado was weaker. Town Douwen Village was generated and landed at a diameter of about 10-20 meters. Later, from the southeast to the northwest direction, it moved towards Longmei Village in Xuelong Village from the southeast. The nearby weakened and disappeared, the duration is about 5 minutes, and the entire path length is about 1-2 kilometers. The automatic meteorological observation located in the Institute of Water Conservancy, Fusheng Town, measured the maximum gust of 11.7 meters/s (level 6) at 7:15. As of press time, there were no casualties reports, and the affected situation was under further investigation and verification.

The reporter also learned from the relevant departments of Shantou City that the phenomenon of "dragon suction water" occurred on the morning of July 2 in the waters near the Qing'ao Bay of Nan'ao Island in Shantou. "Dragon water" is a type of tornado. Meteorology is called "water tornado". The "water tornado" on the day moved to land after about ten minutes. No one was found to be casualties everywhere.
