Tesla delivered more than 250,000 units in the second quarter, refreshing a single monthly output record in June

Tesla said that despite the continuous challenges and factory shutdown of the supply chain, Tesla's output in the second quarter still achieved a year -on -year increase of 25.3%, and the delivery volume increased by 26.5%. Specifically, in the second quarter, Tesla's Model 3/Y output was 242,200, an increase of 19%year -on -year; the output of Model S/X was 16,400 units, an increase of several times compared to the 2340 vehicles in the same period last year.

This year, the Shanghai Super Factory still played an important role in Tesla's global production and delivery. From January to May, Tesla China had a cumulative delivery volume of 215,900 units, an increase of more than 50%year -on -year.

It is reported that the Tesla Shanghai Super Factory resumed work in April. By early June this year, its capacity utilization rate had been restored to 100%, which also played a positive role in the recovery of the new energy vehicle industry chain in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. Earlier, Musk praised China at the Qatar Economic Forum that "they are very competitive, diligent and smart, and the world will set off a wave of Chinese manufacturing."

Recently, in many places in China, it has introduced favorable policies such as promoting new energy vehicle consumption and subsidies such as "oil replacement" replacement subsidies, and vigorously promoted green travel. Tesla actively responded to the policy call, bringing "replacement 'to the courtesy" replacement benefits, reducing the threshold for consumers, helping to accelerate the process of replacing the fuel vehicle in new energy vehicles, and further increased sales.

At the same time, Tesla continued to help the improvement of China's "new infrastructure". Recently, with Tesla's 35,000 charging piles in Wuhan, there are more than 1,200 super charging stations and more than 8700 super charging piles in mainland China. Charging piles cover more than 370 cities and regions.
