Jilin Province's precipitation in June broke the history of the same period of the same period

The reporter learned from the Jilin Provincial Meteorological Bureau on the 4th that the average precipitation of Jilin Province had just reached 200.1 mm just in June, nearly 1.1 times more than usual, breaking the extreme value of the same period of history since the Jilin Provincial Meteorological Observatory.

Mu Xiuxiang, deputy director of the Jilin Provincial Meteorological Observatory, introduced that the frequent precipitation since June of Jilin Province was caused by frequent activities in the Northeast cold vortex system. The movement of the cold vortex system in the Northeast is slow and long, which often brings low temperature and rainy weather for several consecutive days. Throughout June, Jilin Province had encountered three influences of the Northeast Cold Vortex system.

The Jilin Provincial Climate Center predicts that in July, the average precipitation of Jilin Province was between 150 mm and 180 mm, which was slightly higher than the same period of the year. However, the distribution of precipitation space and space may occur in the central and southern regions, and phase droughts may occur in the western region.

Due to the large amount of rainfall since the flood in, at present, the soil across Jilin Province is close to saturation or over full, and the bottom water in the region is high, and the reservoir water storage is too large. The Jilin Provincial Meteorological Bureau reminded that relevant departments should closely monitor the weather changes and do various coping work in advance.
