Tens of thousands of cliff sandy swallows are about to leave the nest | Green Huida Yanshayan protection land

At the end of June, Mr. Hong, the green cliff Sandy Sandy, came to the area of Luohe, Shijiazhuang to check the situation of Yansha Yanfu this year. What makes him more pleased is that tens of thousands of cliffs and sandy birds born this year have basically grown up, and it will be about to leave the nest immediately.

"Usually someone is close to their nests. These cliffs and sand swallows will avoid people's vision far away, but now the last time the little swallow leaves the nest is only one step away. Not so much, I still go in and out of the cliff, traveling through and feeding their own baby. "I watched the Volunteer who worked hard for more than 2 years. The vitality, Mr. Hong's mood is very pleasant.

According to the preliminary statistics of Mr. Hong, the habitat of more than 4,000 Chaoya Shayan on the coast of the Luohe River this year has been retained. These Yisha swallows that migrate to this house have breed about tens of thousands of small swallows here. "To protect more days, and wait for all the newly born little swallows this year to leave the nest, the protective land work can temporarily come to an end," Mr. Hong said.

I like to built the cliffs and sandy swallows that built nests on the sandy shore or earth on the wetland. Flying insects live. They are a migrant migratory bird with two subspecies. Most of the time, it is breeding in the northeast or Xinjiang region of my country. When migration, it will pass through the North China, Central China and South China region of China. In recent years, there have been brooding in North China and Central China.

In the spring of 2020, in the Luanhe River in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei, volunteers also found the phenomenon of Yansha Yan to build nests. Because cliffs and sandy swings like to build nests on both sides of the river bank, these sand cliffs are often the first in the local river bank rectification construction. In order to protect these little swallows, for more than two years, the Green Club has set up two cliff sandy swallows protection places in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. Each year, volunteers will guard the breeding place when they arrive.

"This year's Yasha swallow protection is basically a perfect ending today. The little swallow is expected to leave the nest safely, but these surviving habitats are still very uneasy and may be at any time." At present, the 109 -kilometer Luanhe River Basin passes through Pingshan, Lingshou, Luquan, Zhengding, Tancheng, Wuji, Shenze and other counties. Theoretically, these river banks are suitable for cliffs and sandy strokes. The municipal government and the Green Association volunteers work together. Now there are 6 Yansha Yan habitats that are protected, but there are two habitats in the Luohe River Basin this year. The protective land of the river cliffs and sandy swallows, the overall situation is not very good.

"As far as we know, after all the newbirds of the newborn leave the nest this year, there are two habitats along the Luohe River that are likely to be flattened." In recent years, Mr. Hong has been paying attention to and guarding these cute little swallows. He explained At present, the two habitats of the Sandy Yanyan habitat of the Luohe cliff should be built in the relevant construction plan. Because it is under the breeding season, the construction is suspended. "I am worried that they will disappear next year." Mr. Hong hopes that the construction and maintenance unit, government departments on the local river bank can retain some sandwood walls of the nest family as much as possible for these cliffs.

"Three habitats, including Yayasha Yanchang Island and Yansha Yanyan Island in the Huaihe section of Yuanshi County. It is supported by the local government and is now well protected. It has become a unique landscape place in the local area." I hope that Yisha Yan in the Langhe River can also have such good luck.
