On July 6, the first 10 kV "Snowflake Network" in the country launched the construction in Tianjin, marking that Tianjin accelerated the construction of a new power system and focused on creating an internationally -leading city distribution grid into a new stage.

State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company proposed the "snowflake -shaped" advanced grid structure that adapts to the new requirements of the energy Internet development, and has my country's full independent intellectual property rights. Because the important node connection method of the power grid resembles the shape of snow petals, it is named "Snow Network".

The grid structure is based on the ring meter as the network unit, which is consisted of 8 10 kV lines or 6 10 kV lines of the 4 -seater power stations or the 6 -seater power stations. Hexagonal "Snow Network".

Wang Weichen, deputy director of the company's Development Department, introduced that "Snowflake Network" builds a mixed operation method coexisting in DC systems, which can resist the load impact that the uncertainty of the uncertainty of new energy to the power grid. It can adapt to new energy, energy storage, electric vehicles, etc. The diversified load is connected to the grid, upgrading the new energy network access mode to flexible "connecting, using it if you want to use it", and economically and efficiently adapt to the access, exit and interaction of various market entities. Compared with the traditional 10 kV power grid, the use efficiency of the "Snow Network" grid has increased by nearly 30%, and new energy consumption capacity has increased by nearly 60%.
