On July 10, led by the China Badminton Association, the United Front Work Department of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, the first "Panda Cup" Sichuan, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Youth Badminton Tournament, sponsored by the Sichuan Overseas Friendship Association, the Sichuan National Taiwan Association, and the Chengdu Overseas Friendship Association. With the continuous development of my country's socio -economic development, sports have become an important bridge for exchanges and cooperation and enhance friendship. He pointed out that this event is a platform for youth exchange of Sichuan, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and the stage for display. It is hoped that by hosting this competition, it can further promote the exchange of Sichuan, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan sports and cooperation in various fields. The level of the game has comprehensively showing the youth style of Sichuan, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in the new era.

Tan Yunlong, Minister of the Group of China Badminton Association, Yang Dong, head of the Sichuan Provincial Hong Kong and Macau Office, Tang Jingtian, deputy secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Youth League, and relevant units in Sichuan Province, responsible comrades in Sichuan universities, and all contestants attended the opening ceremony.

According to the organizer, there are 8 participating teams in this competition, which are composed of men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. Among the participating teams, not only Sichuan University, Southwest University of Finance and Economics, Sichuan Yangtze River Vocational and Technical College and other young students in Sichuan universities and young Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who were innovated and entrepreneurial in Sichuan, they also specially invited the 2 Sichuan -foreign colleges of Jinan University and Overseas Chinese University. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students participated in the competition, and more than 50 players will decide the final championship in two competition days.
